Situation

The studio is located by the metro Bastille just sptep from the Place des Vosges in the 4th district of Paris

Formerly known as Place Royale (before the French Revolution of 1789), Place des Vosges is the oldest square in Paris. It was built between 1605 and 1612 during the reign of Henri IV.

Four harmonious arcades surround the square and up the facades of great architectural unity: two-storey houses of red brick. The famous Victor Hugo wrote Les Miserables in his apartment located at number 6 of the Place.

At the Place de la Bastille, you will find the famous Opera Bastille and the Paris Bastille port with its boats and locks.

You will find close to all amenities this apartment useful (bakery, butcher, doctor, pharmacy, hospital, laundry, market, restaurants, cafes, hairdressers, supermarkets, theaters, clubs …).

The apartment was great. It was well-equipped with everything one may need for a short stay. Everything worked well and the landlord was very helpful in explaining how things functioned. The place is well situated within close proximity of many places to eat and several forms of transportation. All in all, the apartment was clean and user-friendly.
